A ranger will lead a guided 1.5-mile hike of beautiful Hellhole Canyon. Enjoy views of the Rodriguez Mountain Range while learning about local history and the inspiration behind the name Hellhole. Hikers will also learn about native plants and animals, and how water moves through the canyon. The hike will begin with a descent into the canyon and will conclude with a moderate ascent on the return hike to the parking area. Be sure to bring plenty of water, a snack, good hiking shoes and an inquisitive mind.
This event is free and all ages are welcome! Inclement weather may cancel.
